Job Description:

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer needed to perform ultrasound exams and assist radiologists with invasive procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

This position qualifies for a $15,000 commitment incentive, paid over a three-year work commitment, with equal installments after each six months of work completed.

The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will independently perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, breast, abdominal duplex, musculoskeletal, CEUS, and pediatric sonography.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Proper operation and care of equipment, providing quality care to patients, and proper use of electronic medical records and reporting systems.
  
• Involvement with peers in scheduling and coordinating daily workload.
  
• Summarizing exam findings on a report worksheet and communicating impressions to radiologists.
  
• Accuracy in exam performance and willingness to learn and perform all current and new procedures.
  
• Works closely with radiologists to assist in training of resident physicians, fellows, and students.
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Completion of a 12-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound.
    
  • RDMS registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible and become registered within one year from date of hire.
    
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
    
    
    Job Details:

    • Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
      
    • $40.09 per hour (hiring range).
      
    • Exempt from overtime.
