Works cooperatively and effectively with staff and other administrative support personnel in maintaining the standards of professional behavior. Must provide skill and talent that will add value to the facility. Performs duties in the department in compliance with policies and procedures of the hospital, regulations or applicable regulatory agencies. Performs other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Director of Cardiology Services -Responsibilities of the PositionDiagnostic viewing of coronary and peripheral arteriesIntravascular Ultrasound (IVUS)Revascularization of coronary and peripheral arteriesPercutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)StentingPeripheral AtherectomyInsertion of Temporary and Permanent PacemakersMechanical and Pharmacological ThrombolysisRight Heart CatherizationInsertion of Swan-Ganz cathetersInsertion of Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP)Insertion, removal, exchange, declots of hemodialysis cathetersInsertion of PICC linesInsertion of nephrostomy tubes, g-tubes, biliary drainsInsertion of Pleurx cathetersKyphoplastyVertebroplastyMonitoring and documentation of hemodynamic status intraprocedure.Maintains sterile field. Safely prepares and labels all the medications on the sterile field, continually accounts for number and location of instruments, sharps, sponges to prevent retained foreign objects.
